Does Lit work in every Litter-Robot?

Yes. Lit is Whisker's recommended litter for Litter-Robot 3, Litter-Robot 4, Litter-Robot 5/Pro and Litter-Robot EVO. Other clumping litters can work too, and Whisker keeps a brand-by-brand list of the best litter for Litter-Robot, including the ones to skip.

How much Lit goes in the globe?

Fill to the line inside the globe, or just below it. Too much or too little can get in the way of a clean cycle.

Can I use the 3-minute wait time with Lit?

Yes. Litter-Robot 4, Litter-Robot 5 and Litter-Robot EVO let you set the wait time to 3, 7, 15, 25 or 30 minutes. Lit clumps fast, so clumps are firm by the time a 3-minute cycle starts. Handy if your dog thinks the litter box is a snack bar.

Does Lit work with LitterHopper?

Yes. LitterHopper works with several litter types, but Whisker recommends clay-clumping litter like Lit so litter and waste levels are read accurately.

Why unscented?

Fragrance only covers odor up. Lit's bentonite clay locks it in, and Litter-Robot seals the clumps in its drawer. Most cats prefer unscented litter anyway, and a strong perfume can put some cats off the box.
